Great dog-friendly place with dedicated areas for guests with pets, including the courtyard for breakfast. Superb location close to the beach, pubs, and restaurants. Beautiful building with a lovely bar and private room. Very accommodating staff, delivering everything we needed right outside our room.

Quiet comfortable hotel, well situated for coast, close to beach and Norfolk Coastal path. Good breakfasts and bar food with quality local ingredients. Staff very pleasant.
A bit pricey. Breakfast not open until 8 am even weekdays so couldn't make early starts.

the building was attractive and the public rooms were welcoming and tastefully furnished. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. the breakfasts were excellent and the restaurant served high-quality food. I also appreciated that the hotel was pet-friendly, with a nearby beach that allowed dogs. the bedroom was comfortable and the common areas were attractive. it was a truly enjoyable stay. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The meals were excellent. Lovely location. Really quiet. Nice to see familiies and the occasional dog. Made for a good atmosphere. The lay out of the rooms in smaller outside blocks was very nicely done.
Just a couple of points about room 14. The bath was blocked, which is inexcusable, and the cupboard where clothes could be stored next to the bathroom, smelt damp and musty. We kept our clothes in our cases. Perhaps the 2 issues were connected, but had we stayed more than 1 night, I would have asked for a change of room. Needs sorting please. Other occupants may not be as content as we were to put up with it.

Quite a long walk to rooms for disabled person. Could do with a couple nearer the car park

Nicely decorated. A very comfortable relaxed atmosphere. the fact that it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach was an added bonus. Excellent breakfast.
The bar prices were rather high. the restaurant was nice but lacked ambience in the evening. A candle is always a nice touch. The food was very nice, but when asked for just a plain crab salad without the crayfish we were told this was not possible!? The morning coffee was awful (strong and bitter) so on the 2nd morning I asked if it was possible to have instant but was served a caffetiere again!
